• Remove packing and/or decorations before burning
• Trim wick 1/8" (0.3 cm) prior to each lighting
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and other debris
• Keep wick centered and away from container wall
• If flame smokes, extinguish, re-trim the wick and check for drafts
• Burn on a stable, non-flammable, heat-resistant surface
• Container will be hot when candle is lit; allow to cool before touching or handling
• Burn in a well-ventilated room
• Avoid drafty areas
• Burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Discontinue use when 1/2" (1.2 cm) of wax remains at bottom, as vessel may break
